The Delegation of the European Commission to Ukraine was opened in Kyiv in September 1993. The Delegation has the status of a diplomatic mission and officially represents the European Union in Ukraine.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark and its overseas representations are in charge of Denmark's foreign affairs. Among these tasks are policy towards the EU, development aid, trade policy and legal affairs in relation to the outside world. Denmark supports the prevention and combating of human trafficking through a range of international initiatives.

The objective of Norway's development policy is to fight poverty and bring about social justice. The Government has achieved its target of allocating 1 percent of gross national income to international development.

Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida) is the governmental agency responsible for development cooperation worldwide. In Ukraine, Sida is represented by a Development Cooperation Section at the Embassy of Sweden.

The aim of the Swiss Cooperation Office is to support transition processes in Ukraine by: encouraging the democratic reform of its public institutions; ensuring strong and sustainable development of the economy; promoting principles of an equitable and participatory society and deepening integration with Europe.
